Mrs. Scheetz is our Technology and Media Specialist for grades 3 to 8. She also is our main librarian. She has been working for Our Lady since 2020. Her main technology subjects involved all aspects of Google Suite, same as all different types of applications for Chromebooks. She supports our IT Administrator in following the school’s technology policies and she coordinates technology lessons with homeroom teachers. She manages and develops programs for the library for grades k-4. Her students love library day!
Mrs. Scheetz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Preschool Certification from Centenary University. She also received a Master of Science degree in Special Education from The College of New Jersey. Right after college, Mrs. Scheetz taught preschool. But the majority of her educational background was teaching Special Education in Reading and Math to inmates aged 16-45. She loved the experience of helping all ages of her students and most importantly, seeing them be able to succeed in their academics.
Mrs. Scheetz feels lucky that she can practice her faith while teaching and have the opportunity to see her students grow academically and spiritually. Catholic Education is important for her and her children. Her oldest child graduated from Our Lady and he currently attends Notre Dame High School. Her daughter is enrolled at our school. Mrs. Scheetz treasures being able to teach and having the opportunity to see her daughter while at school.
Mrs. Scheetz is an enthusiastic and kind person. She was born in Sicily, Italy, and became a proud citizen in 1995. We are lucky to have, Mrs. Scheetz at our school.
