Mrs. Frio has been the principal of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School since 2018. She is a product of more than twenty years of Catholic education and her career in education has been dedicated to the Catholic school system of the Allentown Diocese.
After graduating from Bethlehem Catholic High School, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting from St. Joseph’s University. While working at DeSales University she earned her MBA and then spent several years working as an Investor Relations Manager at Lucent Technologies. She received her teaching degree in K-12 Business and Technology from Gwynedd-Mercy College and began her teaching career at Bethlehem Catholic High School where she stayed until she started her family.
Mrs. Frio met her husband in New Jersey while traveling for work for DeSales University. They married in 2000 and settled in Bethlehem Township in 2001 at which time they became members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. They have three children. The oldest graduated from Our Lady and now attends Bethlehem Catholic High School. Their twins currently attend Our Lady. Having her children at Our Lady is how Mrs. Frio became involved with the school, first as a volunteer and then as a teacher before eventually becoming the principal.
Mrs. Frio is strongly rooted in her faith and has a passion for Catholic education. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to lead the Our Lady of Perpetual Help School community because it is not only focused on excellence in education but it ensures that everything the students, staff, and families do is guided by our faith.
When not busy running the school, she is spending time watching her children participate in activities like band, track, horseback riding and more. She enjoys cooking and baking with her children, taking her dog for walks, exercising and spending time with extended family and friends. Although she loves the excitement and energy the students bring to the building during the school year, she does enjoy summer vacation too. In the summer, her favorite place to be is on the beach in Ocean City, MD with her family where she can rest and recharge to get ready for the next school year.
