Mrs. Tocci is our 7th-grade teacher and our advanced Reading and Language Arts teacher for grades 7 and 8. She also specializes in the Social Studies curriculum for grades 7 and 8. We have been fortunate to have Mrs. Tocci as a member of our staff at Our Lady since 2019.
Mrs. Tocci earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and Psychology from Moravian College. Her experience has been in a school environment taking on different roles. She spent 20 years as a career advisor for high school students and more recently, before joining the faculty at Our Lady, she worked with students with special needs.
Working at Our Lady allows Mrs. Tocci the opportunity to watch her students grow as children; spiritually, emotionally, and academically. She gets to know the students as people, not just as students in their classroom. She loves the ability to talk about God with her students and teaching at a Catholic school allows her to teach values and morals and watching them grow as they follow their conscience makes Mrs. Tocci’s heart smile.
Mrs. Tocci is originally from a very small town in New Jersey. She moved to Pennsylvania during her college years and just fell in love with the Lehigh Valley. Shortly after college she met her future husband and made Bethlehem her home. They have twins, a boy and a girl who keep them very busy.
The Our Lady community has become Mrs. Tocci’s extended family, and she is very thankful to be a part of it. Her family has been parishioners at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church since 2017. Mrs. Tocci loves to bake and loves 80's music. She also loves coffee.
