Mrs. Lessig has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown for over 8 years. Before joining Our Lady she taught second and third grade in the town she grew up in for 9 years. She has proudly been Our Lady’s third grade teacher since 2015.
Mrs. Lessig received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The University of Scranton. She is the Advisor of the National Junior Honor Society Chapter and the Math Coordinator at our school. She is an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish and a proud parent of 2 children who have graduated from Our Lady.
As a parent, what she loves about Our Lady is how everyone has similar values that make her feel safe and included. As a teacher, she loves seeing the kids share their love of faith with one another and bringing it home to their family. Regardless of her status of parent or teacher, Mrs. Lessig has come to know Our Lady as a tight knit community. She admires how the older kids lookout for the younger kids in our school, whether it be on the bus, in the hallway, during prayer partners, or at outside school events. Mrs. Lessig loves watching the students grow in God's hands.
Outside of Our Lady, Mrs. Lessig enjoys spending her time watching her own children play sports, trying new restaurants with her husband, and relaxing at the beach.
