Mrs. Generose has been teaching at Our Lady since 1987. Before joining our school, she was teaching at St John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic School in Hazleton. She has been working for Catholic schools for over 40 years.

Mrs. Generose received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She also earned a Master of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Scranton. She is The Science Coordinator and The Faculty Union Representative at our school. She has been a parishioner at St. Joseph the Worker in Orefield, PA for over 25 years.

She has always loved the family atmosphere at Our Lady. For her; it has been truly a pleasure to watch some of her former students grow up and send their children to our school. She believes it speaks about the excellent education we offer at Our Lady and how much we care for their moral development. This helps them grow into kind, compassionate, and faithful young people.

Mrs. Generose has one daughter who has followed in her footsteps and also works in education. She enjoys taking in the beautiful surroundings around her home, reading, and visiting local craft shows and farmers' markets. Mrs. Generose has been known to “run on Dunkin”. She loves Dunkin' Donuts' Green Tea Refreshers so much that she treats herself to one every Friday after a busy week filled with learning at school!
