Mrs. Sabino is our Advance Math Teacher for grades 5th to 8th. She has been teaching for Our Lady since 2008. She has been the MathCounts coach for Our Lady for several years now.
Mrs. Sabino has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Kutztown Univeristy. After college, Mrs. Sabino was a Statistical Programmer for 15 years. When her children attended St. Joseph the Worker School. She volunteered as a teacher in the computer lab for each of their grades and discovered she loved teaching. She decided to go back to Kutztown to get a certification in Secondary Education to teach Math as a second career. What she loves most about teaching is seeing her students getting excited and insightful about Mathematics!
She has been a parishioner at St. Joseph the Worker in Orefield for more than 30 years. Mrs. Sabino has two sons who are young adults. Her oldest son manages the WXLV Digital Media and Production Lab at Lehigh Carbon Community College. Her youngest son recently graduated from Kutztown University with a BA in History. Her husband graduated from Penn State University, so her family is Nittany Lion fans!
